Through our work experience placements, T Level industry projects, and apprenticeship programmes, we help individuals build confidence, understand the workplace, and take meaningful steps toward their future careers. Apprenticeships
At Portakabin, apprenticeships play a critical role in building and sustaining our long term talent pipeline. By bringing early career individuals into the organisation, we can shape their skills, embed our culture, and develop future capability aligned with our strategic priorities. Apprentices learn on the job, supported by our experienced teams, and quickly become productive members of the business.

T-Levels
We support T Level students by providing meaningful industry placement opportunities that help to build confidence, develop real‑world skills, and apply learning. By welcoming students into our teams, we provide the chance to experience genuine workplace challenges, understand how our industry works, and discover where strengths lie.

Work Experience
Work experience placements offer the opportunity to explore real workplace environments, build confidence, and discover what people enjoy. These experiences help young people connect what they learn in education through hands on tasks, while also developing valuable skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem solving.
We offer various unpaid, structured work experience opportunities, ranging in duration from a one-day visit to a week placement
